  1. I welcome comments from anyone over the age of majority. (21+)
  2. I welcome all legitimate comments. A legitimate comment is one that addresses the post in question, directly or indirectly. I welcome comments regardless of the opinion expressed and of whether the comment condemns or commends the post or me personally.
  3. Although I do not always take part in them, I welcome discussions among readers in my comments because this makes the journal more interesting for me and other readers.
  4. I delete obvious spam and nuisance comments that have no relevance to the post. I will not tolerate flaming, hate, or trolling, should they occur.
  5. I delete unanswered any comments I suspect to be from minors.
  6. I respond to some comments but not to all, and this is entirely by whim and by chance. I know some readers find this frustrating. If you would like me to respond directly to your comment, please say so and I will oblige asap.
  7. WordPress gives you several options for commenting. If you want to identify yourself please do so. If you don’t, well that is fine too.
